I absolutely love this quote from Martin Luther King Jr., who continues to inspire true loving kindness in our world.

"If you can't fly, then run,
if you can't run, then walk, 
if you can't walk, then crawl,
but whatever you do,
you have to keep moving forward."

When I think of where I've been, both physically and emotionally, and where I am now, I can feel the truth of Dr. King's words in my bones. Not because I have some kind of strength that others don't have and I'm better off for it, but simply because I've always made the choice to keep moving. I've not always known what the big picture would look like, I just keep on trying to determine what the next right thing to do is. It's simple but profound. 

Valuable Questions to Ponder:

  1. Where do things feel really hard in your life right now? 
  2. What is one small step you can take toward feeling more empowered in that situation? 
  3. If you're feeling chaotic and anxious, where can you find a moment of peace today
  4. And how can you replicate that moment of peace on a regular basis, so you're moving toward being more supportive of your own well-being? 

Wherever you are in your personal journey, these are deeply wise words. Just. Keep. Moving. Forward. Accepting that perhaps we can't change everything right in this instant doesn't mean giving up. It's often the smallest, concentrated daily efforts that yield the most fruit in our lives.
