Hello, friends! I'm Jessica and this is The Reclamation, a twice monthly publication from Meridian Integrative Wellness that Inspires Courageous Action for Inside Out Healing.

Admittedly, 2022 is off to a bumpy start with Covid-19 cases on the rise, schools switching to remote learning and all the hardships that come along with these circumstances. If you're among the droves of people who get into making New Year's Resolutions, you might have already ditched your plans because of high stress. We're only three weeks into the year.

Most people are feeling the effects of stress brought on by the ever-evolving pandemic and many folks are operating on high-alert at all times. This much stress on the nervous system can cause rapid decline in mental, emotional and physical health. Obviously, this is an immediate need to be addressed.

Today's Post Shares These 2 Things:

  1. Stressors and Stress itself are solved differently. Even when a stressor is removed, the stress doesn't just go away. It's up to you to complete the stress cycle.
  2. An invitation to Mount Saint Francis's Fully Alive Health and Wellness Series, where I will be sharing a presentation on Releasing Yourself From the Stress Cycle.

Stressors and stress itself are solved differently.

Contrary to popular opinion, when you remove a stressor, your stress doesn't just magically vanish. It's up to you to complete the stress cycle.

There are many ways to effectively complete the stress cycle, therefore releasing you from the constant anxiousness that steady doses of stress bring on.

The key to Releasing Yourself From the Stress Cycle is twofold. Lucky for us, it has nothing to do with removing the stressors; many of them are here for the foreseeable future.

  1. Understand that if you leave the stress cycle incomplete, the hormones produced by the stressor stay in your body. This will make you mentally, emotionally and physically sick.
  2. Learn what options are available for effectively completing the stress cycle. Then experiment with the options to find what works best for you.

Join me for this interactive learning experience that will leave you more resilient and better equipped to handle the stressors you're facing!

Now until next time, you know what to do.  RSVP to the Mount Saint Francis Fully Alive Health & Wellness Series, and make sure to leave a comment on what aspects of health are you concerned about improving!

Thanks for reading, and I’ll catch you next time!
