Dear Friend,
I'll skip the sugar-coating and get right to the heart of the matter. I've dealt with trauma, codependence, depression, anxiety, and debilitating autoimmune disease in my own life. All of these things, at one time, left me feeling deflated and utterly powerless over my ability to live peacefully without severe physical and emotional pain. If that's where you are right now, know that I see your struggle, and you're not alone.
The scales began tipping for me with wisdom gained through my four pregnancies and deliveries. I learned that my body does, in fact, work if I respect its power, give it what it needs, and embrace the challenges that lie in front of me. This realization served me well when I found myself with an autoimmune diagnosis, in excruciating pain, and reliant on a wheelchair. I threw myself into the challenge of creating my own wellness after coming to the grave understanding that, much like the work of birthing a child, no one else could do it for me. No matter how many specialists I saw, and I saw a lot of them, there was no escaping the truth; the work of healing was up to me.
It's been a long and winding journey, but thanks to my commitment to small daily action, trusting in my body's capabilities, and the relentless pursuit of learning from psychology as it relates to behavior and well-being, I've not only recovered, I'm thriving. I feel fortunate for the physical and emotional health I now have, and I'm driven to help others experience the same freedom from chronic conditions in their own lives.
If you want to heal and you're willing to work for it, our team of practitioners (including myself) is here to support your journey.
All the best,
