A Note From Our Founder

Dear Friends,

I'll skip the sugar-coating and get right to the heart of the matter. In my own life I've dealt with trauma, codependence, depression, anxiety and an autoimmune disease. All of these things left me feeling deflated and utterly powerless over my ability to live peacefully without severe physical and emotional pain. If that's where you are right now, know that I see your struggle and you're not alone.

The scales began tipping for me with wisdom gained through my four pregnancies and deliveries (yes, four!!) I learned that my body does in fact work, if I respect its power, give it what it needs and embrace the challenges that lie in front of me. This realization served me well when I found myself with an autoimmune diagnosis, in excruciating pain and reliant on a wheelchair. I threw myself into the challenge of creating my own wellness after coming to the grave understanding that, much like the work of birthing a child, no one else could do it for me. No matter how many specialists I saw, and I saw a lot of them, there was no escaping the truth; the work of healing was up to me.

It's been a long and winding journey but thanks to my commitment to small daily action, trusting in my body's capabilities and the relentless pursuit of learning from psychology as it relates to behavior and well-being, I've not only recovered, I'm thriving. I feel fortunate for the physical and emotional health I now have and I'm driven to help other's experience the same freedom from chronic conditions in their own lives.

If you want healing and you're willing to work for it, our team of practitioners (including myself) is here to support your journey.

All the best,

New Ways To Feel Your Best

Health Coaching for Enhanced Wellness

Our strategic approach centers around supporting you in discovering ways to successfully implement healthy lifestyle changes across all areas of life. This is very intentional work to bridge the gap between medical recommendations and your abilities to successfully them into real life, with the goal of developing long-term health.

Aromatherapy for Mood Support

Aromatherapy as a self-care strategy is just one of many tools we offer to help you reclaim your personal power in your healing journey, nurture your body and gain a better sense of balance in your life.  Essential oils provide safe, natural alternatives to chemical and pharmaceutical products and are very effective in supporting mood.

Massage & Craniosacral Therapy, Cupping

Patience is vital with bodywork, as it allows tension to release when it is ready instead of forcing and causing further injury. The gentle, firm, and strong touch of massage therapy encourages the softening of body tissue and easing of pain.  While it promotes healing from injury, it also helps relieve stress and feelings of anxiousness.

Holistic Counseling Therapy

Counseling therapy is one of the many ways practitioners at Meridian Integrative Wellness work to serve our community and improve our client's sense of well-being. That being said, therapists are definitely not one-size-fits-all. We are proud to have some of the most skilled practitioners under our roof, all of which are highly specialized in their craft.

Biofeedback Therapy

Biofeedback helps to restore balance in your body through stress reduction protocols, muscle re-education, relaxation training, pain management and brainwave relaxation training. All of this is done by the Biofeedback machine. While you're connected to the electrical sensors and receiving biofeedback therapy, your only job is to relax.

Trauma-informed Private Yoga

Many people from all walks of life can benefit from trauma-informed private yoga. Private sessions are tailor-made for your particular needs and desired areas of growth. These sessions are generally focused on slower movements, breathwork, reclaiming body awareness and sensations in a safe, non-judgmental environment.
